Nice matey... how will you be dealing with plug sockets ? you may need a few. Will you be going " a la barn " ie trailing trip hazard 4 ways everywhere ? :)river9999uk2014-11-05 20:58:16

That's what Tony was working out with me yesterday. Looking at 14 twin sockets for the entire place including the workshop, in trunking down from the ceiling which should cover everything nicely. Lighting will be on 2 feeds, one for regular overhead and another for mood lights - led and neons - which can be controlled from the entrance. Should work well, just need to save up for it all now!

On with the final bits of work on the walls.

Around the door area done, section on the left I've not done yet as that's where the Consumer Unit and wiring will all be.

On to the last bit now.

One little bit to go! Down to my last sheet of plasterboard and drywall screws now so it worked out well.

All the wall work (for now anyway) is done. Went like a rocket doing this bit and managed it all in about an hour and a half.

Now

Next I'll be sorting cabs as more are arriving that have been in storage for months - including some I've not actually seen yet!
Next stage will be to get all the electrics in, but for now I've run out of time, money and materials so the pace of work will slow for a while.
