Finally got all my cabs into the house so celebrating with my own thread.

1) Sega Mega-Tech
- Was well priced but original board was faulty. Sourced a replacement. Original board is being repaired & modded to take MD controllers.
Base needs replacing; hence the lean to the left. Monitor needs adjusting but the neck is only accessible by pulling out the whole chassis through the front

I'll eventually cut an access hatch.

2) Nintendo Playchoice-10 Super de-luxe
- love this cab! Was my own grail having spent many hours with one in my youth. I've put threads up about it everywhere including retro gamer mag forums. Might one day mod a zapper & fit Duck Hunt.

3) Generic Jamma cab (setup for vertical games). Got it delivered locally for a bargain. Was going to become a Konami cab as it once housed TMNT, Simpsons, Asterix & Sunset Riders together. Got board playing those games solo and sold them all off to part-fund tge Asteroids cab.

4) Leisure 2000 cab (quite Lordsvale-esq) housing a Neo-Geo MVS 4-slot vertically. It was my first cab and bought it off eBay. Very happy with it. Got some custom artwork from Muddy to apply to it to change the CPO to match the Lordsvale style.

5) Asteroids. Got this most recently as I've always wanted a vector cab. Looking at it as a long term restoration. May hut down a deluxe board or a modern replacement to run on a daily basis inside (although I'm fairly sure it all works).

6) Another generic Jamma cab(setup for horizontal games). Need to do a cap kit on the monitor and replace the t-moulding. This needs some TLC. Came with a broken B.Rap Boyz. Not sue if I want a 19-in-1, Pandora's box or MAME in it.

Great stuff Phil, you are indeed fortunate to have a dedicated space for your games.
Hope you get the arse steroids up and running :)

Cheers all! The back 4 all work & play well at the same time. Asteroids still needs the basic checks carried out before I switch it on. The Jamma cab nearest on right just needs a cap-kit to be playable (and a horizontal multi-board). I've got a copy of Tekken I won from 10 Pence Arcade Podcast so that'll do for a while.

Still got a lot of storage space in my garage so no fear of '1-out-1-in' yet! Missing a stand up driver, any rollerball action and no light guns still

Yeah, I finally took the time to do the preflight checks! One of the ICs had come loose in its socket; quick fix. A brightness & contrast adjustment and some X&Y tweaks and its playing very well. There's a very quick vertical line on the odd explosion but everything else is perfect. Very happy
