Moon Patrol cab was nice to play, much easier to play than on the switch!
Some really cool mini's there, i liked the mini Tiger Heli, Mr Do! and Bombjack.

Can anyone tell me the name of the modern Jap one that was running a Dodonpachi game?

Love the fact the monitor looked easy to rotate.

Had an awesome time yesterday, enjoyed a chat with Alex while playing Sky Skipper and posted some okay scores (APC). Was a stretch to do in one day from Devon, but Def. Worth it. Thanks to all involved for putting on a great event!

Yeah good times today at Revival - I really enjoyed my few hours there. Plenty of cabs available to play and a good vibe about the place. Good to see you chaps.

It's been a long weekend!

I really enjoyed today, rather than babysit the cabs we took I enjoyed playing other people cabs.

I managed to 1cc 1942 which surprised me, the cab I played on had a really nice joystick.

I also enjoyed playing on the Gyruss cab, Vic's Qbert, Rogers Tiger Heli and Fraisers Hang On.....I spent most of the afternoon trying to complete Hang On, after it clicked with me I couldn'd stop playing it, and with the friendly competition from Fraser and Smarty I eventually managed to do it.

I really enjoyed today, it made me appreciate how nice this community is. Now I know there's someone else out there (Virtvic) who also suffered playing certain C64 games on a B/W telly, and I also realised just how hard Shaun holley works! I think he filled an artic with cabs by himself!!

Thanks for putting on a nice event Craig.

And one final thing I want to mention, without Shane's help I would not have attended this year.

Shane, you are an absolute legend mate, thanks so much for all the help dismantling, carrying and rebuilding 2 Sega drivers.

Top top man, I don't know anyone else as sincere and honest as you mate.

What they all said ^^^^

This is a really special event in the retro calendar.

Huge thanks and respect to the team that organised it, and kudos to all of the individuals that bring their own cabs and consoles. These guys put a huge amount of time, effort and no doubt money to let their most prized possessions be abused for a weekend. To quote Ringo Starr... Peace and love.... Peace and love... iamjimmi2019-06-17 08:31:27

Yup, agreed. Had a quick visit on the Sunday, which was lovey and quiet. Top event, such a friendly atmosphere.
I had to leave just as the hard work started to breakdown the place, massive thanks to the folks that brought cabs and stuff. Your hard work is really appreciated.

Favourite game for me was ChuckieEggs Rescue. New to me and left a pleasant taste in my mouth. Need to get it setup in my MAME cab.

Loved CNP's Vectrex setup, super cool. As well as Frontier, i picked up a MMC for my Beeb from Richard too, cant wait to play his games.

Came back buzzing from being part of such a cool hobby and a fab bunch of folks.

Shame I'm always at work when these events are on, was in Walsall Sunday working as well but get no spare time like we used to so not even half hour spare to have popped in

Fire Truck is such a basic game and B/W, trying it on mame you think I'll pass but on the proper cab with 2 people I suspect its good fun, that young lad on it certainly looks like he was enjoying it which is so brilliant to see, that's a big smile on his face

Can't believe you took the Sega Drivers in bits and built em back up, I've done a few and know how much work it is

, once you've done a few though it gets easier but still lot of work which shows the effort members put in

Massive thanks for Craig and the team for an absolutely brilliant event, this year definitely felt more relaxed, more organised and the layout worked really well, a real credit to all the effort you guys put in

My Blasts held up all weekend and got pretty much constant play, it's always great to see others enjoying all of the machines that us Vaccers bring along

Thanks to everyone I met and chatted to this weekend, it was great to see familiar faces and get to meet some new ones! Special thanks to Rog for picking up and dropping off me and my cabs

Achievement of the weekend - getting over 88k on Rescue on Sunday morning, what a great little game that is!

Rescue supprised me too i was not very good at it
But its a fun game that i had not played before
got to be a future 10 pence arcade game pick

Fire truck is cool but you need the controls for full effect
I dont think mame would be as good
Shame that jet fighter was down before i got a go of it
But it looked nice when it was working

Forgot to mention how good the vectrex section was
Need to get one of those too now :)

Absolutely fantastic weekend.
Good to chat with everyone that came up and said hello and played sky skipper and rescue .
Such a good vibe and atmosphere, probably my favourite revival to date.
Favourite games for me were on the bbc micro from Richard Broadhurst, amazing arcade conversions like Astro blaster and scramble.
And always love playing Chris vectrex collection and new game frontier.
Big thanks to Graig and everyone involved.

It's certainly a mission taking 2 drivers apart to fit in a passenger lift. I was envious of people just pushing their cabs around on a trolley.

People enjoyed them and that's the main thing really mate. The amount of work that goes into these types of event is amazing tbh. It could quite easily go tits up without someone like Craig in control to organise it all.
