It's still as fantastic as ever! You have to apply your knowledge, skill and experience to what it tells you, but the information it gives you is priceless.

I don't have any of these ... but I still want one. This tool looks aces.

Been using mine tonight to help repair an Operation Wolf. Will put a video up when I can.

Looking forward to watching that Op Wolf repair video when you get a chance to upload it, Nes4life. Thanks for sharing.

Thats confused me now lol

Do you have to buy this  Digilent Digital Discovery yourself

What are you getting for the £465

After watching monstermugs videos i see that box and cables/clip so assume thats what you get with 20pin clip and software to use it?

Just something to point out, the size of its great and like in videos here i'm sure many dont have awesome bench setup's these guys have for repairs but with just that small unit and a laptop you could test in the cab, specially stuff like op wolf with pull out panel with gameboard on which is great

I have stopped including the Digilent unit now as I don't get any discounts on them and they are readily available from several well known suppliers. It also made more sense as in the USA they can be bought for less.
So now I let people buy them direct and just sell the software with the custom cable and a single 20 pin narrow clip to get you started.
Extra clips can be bought direct from WarwickTS as again I don't get any discounts so it makes sense for people to go direct.
The current price for the software+cable+clip is £275 + postage.
Hope that clears it up

Yep Perfectly, I didn't see anywhere it said that or I missed it reading through the thread on the Phone

After seeing monstermug Demonstrating it, I would like one Please

It makes sense, specially when I currently don't have much other equipment than old Scope, Multi meters, Logic probe and Rom Programmer, like the size of it too. will certainly be nice to learn more about board repairs and would help me a lot I think and a few fixes it would pay for itself

Yeah add me to List Please Aaron

Cheers

Chris

Have my SLICE now used several times for repairs like Zaccaria Astro Wars, Atari Pole Pos II, Flying Shark Bootleg (had the infamous white screen of death), Seibu Denshi's Stinger, Popeye, Nibbler, et al.
and I only have it in use for a bit more than a month now ...

After repairing arcade games for decades now I can only say I wish I had have access to a Slice earlier.

It is the perfect addition to a repairer's tech equipment ... big cudos to GadgetFreak !!
