Just got back from a fantastic weekend, that's gotta be the best arcade meet I've ever been too by a country mile. Pix to follow after I've had some much needed sleep. Kudos to Rav and Will for putting so much effort into putting this together, and to all the many volunteers from both the Pinball and Ukvac community who made it all happen. Special nod to dtype for running the video tourney so superbly.

An excellent day - nice to meet Oll, Rav and Andy C as well as see some familiar faces!

Did the Hanty monitor in Alex's new Berzerk work in the Robotron???

I saw you Olly. I recognised you from the DoL pictures. It was a bit hard to miss you really as you were quite the man mountain single handedly lugging a DK JR about

. But you seemed pretty busy setting some stuff up with some other guys, who I also assumed were fellow UKVACers. Then went to play some games and didn't get chance to have a chat as I had to leave shortly after. Maybe next time.

anyone coming today? Come and say hi

Saw you wandering about yesterday, as others have said, hard to miss, but everyone seemed a little busy so i concentrated on Scramble!

Great effort all round, fantastic to be able to play so many old games again. Unfortunately i didn't plan very well as i went straight in and played on the video games, only later, when it was heaving busy did i bother to play a few pins and by that time you had to wait to play them, should have done it the other way around as the vids were easy to get on, with the exception of Defender

Fave games : Juno First (scored 242,260!), Scramble, Tempest

Disappointments: Tron, Jedi - after 30 years of waiting to play them again i not only was crap at them but couldn't work out why i liked them so much in the first place, probably just because the cabs were cool i think!

Hope everyone has a great day again today, it must be great seeing so many people there, seemed far busier and many more machines than last year

A lot of people actually had their drinks in the bar/tournament area - there weren't that many people who took their booze onto the main floor. Out of respect hopefully!

I had a beer but kept it in the bar, didn't think it right to go near a machine with it - even when i was playing the Moon Cresta cocktail in the bar area i put my glass on the floor

If I'd known a few more people, I would've taken some of the groups but it's always a bit odd asking randoms to stand next to each other - they might not even know each other!

Quick note that I arrived home about an hour ago, hopefully Erik and Pieter will be home within an hour too. It was totally great and I would like to thank all involved in making it possible !!!

Great to see Rav and Oll again and meeting some new people like Andrew and Archer :):)

I could never have imagined that I would one time have dinner with the creator of one of my favorite games ......Dropzone. When I mentioned this to him he replied that it was the first time someone said Dropzone instead of Ik+ :):)

My favorite videogames of the show: Gravitar. played it quite a lot already when I was working on Erik's machine and at Funspot, but man I love it more and more I play it. Such an elegant game.....no button bashing but control..,,it's all about control.....

Juno First, played it once or twice at Funspot but what a brilliant shooter ! This one had a very nice monitor and the graphics are brilliant and the gameplay smooth. The color effects like explosions somewhat remind me of Jeff Minter's games, maybe he was once inspired by this ?

biggest discovery for me was the wonderful Mad Planets. What brilliant crazy game !! Pretty hard first times but you get the hang of it quickly. A very unique concept and love the cab.

Considering these games I'd say Gottlieb was somewhat underrated BITD and maybe now too...

Having so many pinballs at hand seems like a luxury but it was really quite busy almost all of the time. Must say I was rather unimpressed with AC/DC but I could only give it two quick go's before I was kinda chased away by some pinheads....and.... I am just a casual pin player...

All in all a great experience !!!
