Well... I might bring something, as long as I don't have to commit until much nearer the time, my estate car is running and it'll fit in the back.

As regards Black Tiger, not sure I'm seeing it, I have got the bootleg though, maybe the original is better. I'll check out the youtube vids.

Oh, and I'd like to see Firefox since it's the only remaining laser game on my list that I haven't played since I last saw a working one in an Arcade....

This is what I want to bring.

I, Robot, Firefox, Missile Command, Discs of Tron, Ice Cold Beer, Gholly Ghost, Starblade

Firefox is very much in the hands of the Gods but i'm speaking to someone about it.

Then I would like some Candy Cabs playing classic games and also classic JAMMA games.

I'm up for bringing a couple or three cabs across / down, but won't be able to commit til nearer the time.

PS, Alpha, surely your DOT will be here by then ;)

That would be awesome - what would you bring?

The DOT needs some work - dead monitor, missing pcbs (now found - presumed dead) and a few other bits and bobs.

I'd be happy to sort the PCBs for the cost of parts (if significant, else free) and postage provided the ribbon connectors are at least reasonable.

I like work!

It depends on what is already committed and what I have by then. I'm up for suggestions tho.

Ha Ol, it'll be one cab then? I had a pic somewhere of when it came to me - it's half a van dude! I should have an AB dlx by then too. They'd be pretty sweet side-by-side :)

Yup, bad times now eh? The second biggest here "what do you do with old games" - ans: "we bin 'em"

Shuddered when they said that, but did get some boards out of them recently for fa

I remember "a place" that had at least 5 or 6 G-Loc full sit in cabs that I think got scrapped. The amount of cabs that were dumped outside was staggering. I got a champ sprint and mad dog that were put outside to be scrapped.

Glad to see Outrun is getting a mention, a nice Atari Warlords cocktail would be a welcome addition to the line up again like last year.

Not posted on here before but been lurking for a while. This looks good I know a fair few people who would love to head down and check out the games. Look forward to it.

The one early this year was pretty good and there was always something to play throughout the day so it's well worth it if you can make the trip.

OK boys, do we have a list of confirmed cabs that are being taken to the Slam?

It would be good also to try and come up with a list of machines that can be dedicated to tournament play for some of the time, and when it will take place. It would probably be best to publish that machine list, and the tournament format, so people can practice their strategy up front (but that's tomorrow's job).

I've also posted on the Slam FB group page a request for a floorplan, vital for co-existance with the pins.

If we're going to do it right, we need to start planning!

Sadly, after supporting the SLAM with 11 of my games last year I'm unable to bring any this year as I have a family commitment on the Friday.

I'm sill hoping to be there Saturday/Sunday and could bring a few JAMMA PCBs.

Looking forward to meeting Steve Ritchie again, he's a top guy!
