What the dickens is going on with the RSS feed ? Castbox now says there are three seasons of the podcast, I've got Season 2021, Season 1 and 'Other' with a random assortment of episodes in each. Have you been sniffing the crumbs in the biscuit tin again Mr Holly ?

The RSS feed, as I understand it, auto updates after every podcast/ webpage we upload or change. We can't alter that feed at all. I'll run the feed through a couple of validators tomorrow and see if they kick out anything unusual. Can you at least listen to the latest podcast?

Yeah all that error stuff doesn't seem to matter as I've just run it through the two Apple recommended feed validators (Podbase and Cast Feed Validator) and it gets a clean bill of health. I've done that from a Macbook Air btw. My Podcast Addict phone app has two entries for the podcast though, one listing the last 50 shows and the the other the last 70!

It could be caused by what happened last month, where our main show logo PNG was flagged as unsuitable, even though we'd used it for years. I changed the graphic to fall in line with this new(?) requirement and Vic uploaded it. Then it worked, as previously Apple listeners (and apps linked to Apple Podcasts) were not seeing it.

On cast feed validator if you click the See preview under basic tests it shows the episode feed. Could the issue be that some episodes have a defined Episode number For instance 188,189,190 etc, and others dont, ie Podcast 180,185,186, 190(1) and Podcast 191 ?

All our MP3 files have a standard naming convention, just 'podcastXX.mp3', so I don't know where it's getting those descriptions from.

I checked the feed again and it looks like certain episodes include extra or missing itunes attributes . That might explain why it's splitting the episodes into two groups. No idea why thats only just started though !

You can see below some have an intunes:episode , some do not. Others have an intunes:season some do not.
