That part is all my fault, and many people did ask to get others involved, but it was such a mine field trying to organise everything I just didn't have the capacity to manage it.

I think I know where you are coming from, it's an amazing feat that you managed to pull it all off the way you did.

hey boat guys!

i've realized that a lot of machines are / were missing their back doors - including my tomahawk and boot hill. was there a huge pile of back doors lying around on the ship or were the used as firewood back in the days?

Allot were matched to cabs where possible. I think Martin TheDeliveryMan took the remainder away. I know he isnt around this week but Im sure he'll gladly measure them or something so we can then try and find them going to their owners somehow!

thx rav! i guess cutting a new backdoor is cheaper than having the missing ones transported to germany. martin is going to have some extra firewood after all ...

What is it with this ship and back doors!! Just learnt mine hasn't got a back door either, and given it's a cabaret, that probably means there wasn't one as it really wouldn't have been hard to match up

The thing I can't figure is, its obvious from the internals of the cabs (the ones I have anyway) that there was back doors and not too long ago otherwise the sea air would have rusted everything.

I mean, I have clean shiny metalwork inside and real rusted outside, so where did they all go ?? out of 4 cabs I got 2 doors and one doesn't fit.

Maybe they were the night watchman's fuel supply, must be cold at night there

different thing over here: no backdoors at all and both the internals and the externals full of rust. those parts are all going to need a long cozy bath in my anti-rust tub!

Luckily most of my cabs had the back doors in place. The space invaders and Avalanche doors were both locked and the sprint one was locked with the key snapped in the lock.
I took a Taito key with me to the ship so I was able to check the space invaders and it seemed to be ok inside luckily.

I'll try to take some pictures over the weekend. The metalwork is pretty rusty so it will need some tidying up.

Yes the guy said he had another incomplete machine like this he was gonna restore.

The dome also had a hole in it too.But what a peice of history it is too.

Oh well, there is / was one in the pier arcade at St Anne's that we play and it would be nice to own one.

At least it went to a good cause.

The machine was bought to bring another up to full working order. There is a nasty hole in the dome, but there are more spares than really needed. The cab is still in one piece for now, but stripped bare. In theory, you could just get a working machine when bits are swapped over. If you are interested in whats left, let me know. You could get a working machine with say 3 playing possitions instead of 6. I was hoping some one else could use some spares for another game as very few parts are available. Here is the machine in need of some new parts.
