i love these sorts of debates and seeing other peoples opinions on this sort of thing

some people dont like the disagreements but i love them, i love seeing peoples thoughts and thinking they are wackos and theorists and i think everyone has a fair shout to say what they think and believe

there is so much data and bullshit fed to us each and every day by "experts" i really dont know what to believe anymore, so i am firmly on the fence on most things, buts its great to see people with more enthusiasm than me take a side and fight for it

That's the thing though, we can debate the correctness of what the general population accept, but why does the alternative argument so-often have to involve sinister figures buggering around with everything to deceive us all?
I can't speak for anyone else, I tend to weigh all sides up and take most things with a pinch of salt whilst mulling them over. My perspective is my own and will be different to other peoples. So my perspective growing up in a multi cultural inner city environment as a child will be vastly different to someone say living in a rural area where everyone knows everyone in the village.

I can't subscribe to lizard aliens theories but I do take into consideration the track record of the loudest voices in the sea of noise. And the loudest voices on the topic of climate that are opposed to my personal perspectives offer little more than anxiety, depression and fear that can be solved by taxing the population even more to pay for whatever they feel fit to roll out. It's not about a particular side as the agenda appears to be the same. And now we have more voices coming from an unelected group who appear to have the type of authority that bypasses democracy. It's a most bizzare situation to see if I'm being honest.

I've just seen that the doomsday clock is now 90 seconds to destruction due to impending nuclear war that may or may not happen. It's just one thing after another if that's all someone pays attention to. It's like we've gone back to the 80's......

So you are saying that the sun has suddenly started to raise the temp of this planet in a way that it's never done before.
And at just the same time as we went industrial. That's one hell of a coincidence.
Do you think the sun isn't closely monitored? That the effect the sun has on our planet isn't known?
I don't know how much the effect of the Sun has raised or lowered the Earths temperature throughout the history of the Universe.

What I do know is that the Sun is a fluctuating mass of plasma that's hotter than anything in existence and that the heat from it affects everything in the Universe.

Personally I think the Sun's temperature is so high that there's nothing that can accurately measure every spectrum of energy it's generating, whether at the start of things being documented using whatever technology was being used back then or with current technology.

Not sure that statement is correct. Thought there was supposed to be loads of other stars like it and much larger. Can't imagine that it affects everything in the universe either but I've not been to space and also I don't know if you are being sarcastic or taking the micky 😆 I might build a spaceship, it can't be rocket science!

Can someone please summarise for me how we as a forum can stop this extreme weather, thanks
All cabs must be converted to solar by 1pm Sunday.

All Konami Windy cabinets must also be rebranded to ‘Konami Windfarm’

Forum members must own and can show evidence of having completed Global Gladiators on the megadrive.

If playing a racing cab, two other people have to be in the seat with you.

I've been known to be serious, sarcastic and trolling at the same time, so much that I can confuse myself.

After a bit of Google-fu

Within our Solar system, the Sun is the hottest natural thing that consistently releases energy, some of that energy we probably currently can't see or measure. There are many things that exist that scientists can't see or measure.

The Sun is at the center of our Solar system.
The Universe is not proven to be everything in existence, there could be many Universes. Yes, Google says there are hotter stars/supernovas in the Universe so I stand corrected. But for the sake of this discussion, I was using the Sun as an example.

Scientists have apparently collided particles to create brief temperatures higher than the Sun, and exploding stars etc can release energy and temperatures in excess of what the Sun radiates.

So for the sake of the argument regarding what is making the average temperature of the Earth rise according to mainstream scientists, I find it most unusual that none of these mainstream scientists are accepting that the heat of the earths core and the Sun itself could influence temperatures on the Earth and that the main problem (which has changed multiple times) lays elsewhere. That was my point.

Not sure if it's in my head or not at the moment, but I can't recall a year when we've had so many "storms"? They're nothing in comparison to elsewhere in the world, just not really used to a few nights of 80mph wind here?
Due to all the electric cars on the roads

The article from the IPCC specifically talks about the sun. It is simply not true to say it has been ignored or not discussed.

Err the Sun isn't getting hotter (well it is but the timescale is measured over billions of years so not relevant) but more of the heat and radiation it produces is getting trapped in the earth's atmosphere due to increased levels of certain gases from human industrialisation. So the changing atmosphere is working almost like a green house (pretty sure I've heard that term before  :D)

We are ALL armchair scientists with the wonderful power of the internet. At least there are some opposing views here as in real life you'll only find people worrying about stuff they've been told is the next big fear. That's even if they're paying attention, which likely they're not.

The blame for whatever is going on tends to become polarised and people focus on one thing but it's not black and white. Environmental changes have hundreds if not thousands of factors affecting outcomes. Solar activity cycles vary with peaks and minimums never being the same each cycle but they tend to follow trends in a direction. The next cycle is going to be pretty interesting after the last few cycles having been rather tame.

I'm as green as they come, I've fixed arcade machines for 30 years as I hated seeing stuff dumped in the ground after so much energy and hard work went into every cab. I now have a nest of 100+ leaded glass CRT tubes to curate and bring half of them back to life (the other half fully working in arcades). I keep anything electrical and mechanical working as long as I possibly can, far beyond the manufacturers intended short life.

Plus I've never been abroad for a holiday. What's it like? I've only ever flown abroad three times, twice for business meetings of which one was a pointless conference. And I went to visit a friend once and make sure they were okay. I seem to have missed out on the yearly (sometimes multiple for some people) trips abroad for a jollybobs. Look at the daily 15,000+ flights in the air at any one time on any of the air radar websites and set yourself a little puzzle - calculate the amount of fuel used for each flight, and the energy potential when that fuel could be used for something for the greater good of people, like the energy consumed by a hospital, or clean water production for areas that have none. I mean, most flight are basically for jollies or for work purposes surely? Not all of those 15,000 flights per day could be critical for life on this planet? And don't get me started on zero duty for aviation fuel, lol.

Change has happened, certainly growing up in the West Midlands during the 70's I can remember it being a cold and snowy experience pretty much every year. Spending time freezing my nuts off under several blankets in my nans unheated council house every xmas period is something I'll never forget. I'll also not forget how the roads were like to drive during the 90's when I passed my driving test, it's like there are ten times the amount of cars on the road now. Every year driving becomes a more unpleasant experience. I can't get away from it now as I need a van for my job, for tools and cabs, and the terrain and distance I cover is un-bikeable. For several years I used to cycle to work and back, 10 miles per day, so I did my bit.

I remember extreme weather events as a kid and I don't think things have gotten as bad as they seem, possibly just a slight increase but we receive news far easier these days. If there was a calamitous event in one part of the country then it would have to be pretty big to hit the national news, now anything goes because news media is so plentiful largely because of adverts and click generated revenue.

Personally I think there's far greater things to worry about, plus my dad gave me advice many moons ago - "Don't ever buy a house on a flood plain, get something on a hill".

In the world of Satan everything is inverted, what ever your told by TV, Mainstream Media, Scientists and Medical lot that are funded by Satan's helpers like Bill Gates

Invert it all and you get the truth

I said this back in 2021 to people, you need to read old books and as someone pointed out before mid 90's, pre Internet, it is so easy to falsify with all the propaganda and inversions on the interent, any surprise they want kids learning from whats on the internet. The internet was good when it started but now when you search it's all Mainstream and Government nonsense for page after page after page. people still believe voting for labour will change everything, well they all lie and both work for the same nutters and reform are there to take away votes from CONservative and let labour in if you ask me, Kier 'Davos' Starmer who is worse, far worse. we don't want any of em when they don't work for us, I never voted from day I was allowed because I could see all they do is lie to get into power and when in they do pretty much non of what they say

none of these mainstream scientists
Sorry, but what exactly is a mainstream scientist? A scientist is a scientist, no?

Firstly, everyone that believes in this man made climate emergency, where are you all getting this information from? TV, News Papers? World Economic Forum? Are you doing your own research into it? if so who are you listening too? and who Funds them?

A scientist is a scientist, no? well it depends who's funding them, if your being funded by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation like BBC and many News Papers your absolutely a Mainstream Scientist

World Climate Declaration 1609 Signed By Scientists So are these not real Scientists?
WordClimateDeclaration-v2 1878 Signatories

Obviously non of the above listed are Real Scientists because they're not promoted on BBC, ITV or SKY or YouTube for some now

So how many here have listened to Scientists, Doctors, Professors that aren't on TV? I listen to many different ones

Dr Niall McCrae PhD, MSc, RMN is a lecturer in mental health at King’s College London. His publications include several journal articles and book chapters on the social history of psychiatry and mental health care. His book The Moon and Madness (Imprint Academic, 2011) has been widely reviewed and he has also presented his research on this topic on the BBC Radio 4 series All in the Mind. Niall is currently writing a history of the mental hospitals in Britain, from nurses’ perspectives.

He has a new book out

Green in Tooth and Claw: The Misanthropic Mission of Climate Alarm

So would you listen to him? I did last night on here
kinda ties in with what I said about the Nazi's haven't gone anywhere!

Trouble is when you mention someone that isn't on TV or Promoted on Youtube the 1st thing people do is a Google search, see the Fact Checked garbage, the Mainstream propaganda about them (The Inversion) so what do you get when you search about World Climate Declaration?

Shite like this https://www.euronews.com/my-europe/...ts-sign-declaration-denying-climate-emergency

Now here''s one that will get ya going

If I mention a guy called Piers Corbyn? what abuse will I get if I said I'd listen to this guy! When I used to watch TV I didn't like Jeremy Corbyn to be honest but I thought his brother was a Nut Job because that's what the Mainstream Media portray him as

OK so Piers Corbyn... He obtained a degree in physics from Imperial College London in 1968, as well as a postgraduate degree in astrophysics from Queen Mary College in 1981 In a video viewed more than two million times on Twitter, British meteorologist Piers Corbyn claims lunar and solar phases — not carbon dioxide emissions — are driving climate change. “Climate has always been changing, but this has nothing to do with man,” Corbyn says in the video, adding that several “very hot summers” in a row have “nothing to do with carbon dioxide.”

You also have the 800 or 1000 year Cycle as explained by Dr Patrick Moore - Greenpeace Co Founder obviously another nutter because he's not on TV but seems decent to me
he also explains how rise in temperature leads rise in Co2 as not Rise in Co2 leading rise in Temperature

Can we live without carbon dioxide? Carbon dioxide or CO2 is an essential part of the cycle of life. Without CO2, plants will die off, and without plants, the earth's biological food chain would be terminally broken. We cannot live without carbon dioxide
So why would you want to reduce Co2? again Satanic Inversion demonising Co2 we've all known for years that Through a process called photosynthesis, leaves pull in carbon dioxide and water and use the energy of the sun to convert this into chemical compounds such as sugars that feed the tree. But as a by-product of that chemical reaction oxygen is produced and released by the tree.
Yet Councils are Cutting Trees down for Cycle Paths and other nonsense

The Plymouth politician who ordered 110 trees to be chopped down in the middle of the night lives in one of the city's most upmarket tree-lined streets.
The council had paused the plans due to objections from residents to a £12.7million redevelopment scheme but on Tuesday, Tory leader Richard Bingley signed an executive order to fell the trees.
Hours later contractors moved in and installed fences around the area while security and police with dogs patrolled outside.

Sadness as trees felled to make way for Cambridge's new £24m bike and bus lane project

London councils remove almost 50,000 trees in five years: ‘Our canopy is vanishing’ – eandt.theiet.org

As London’s felling upsurge is revealed, one entrepreneur calls for vigilance and says technology can help map London’s green giants amid hopes that smartphones will help urbanites better appreciate nature.
Trees are being chopped down at an alarming rate in Britain‘s green and pleasant capital city, with over 10,000 specimens removed by council chainsaw crews last year alone.
Figures obtained by E&T suggest there has been a spike in tree felling in London in recent years, with at least 20 per cent more trees cut down by the city’s 33 councils in the last five years compared with the period 2003-2007.

17 Jun 2019 — Thousands of petitioners are trying to stop plans to fell 26 trees in Kensington to make way for a new cycle lane

The inversion, but it's all about being Green says Government, Geez everyone, this is being Green cutting down trees

This is the reduction of motorcars plain and simple all under the guise of Fighting the Climate Change Man Made Hoax

https://www.birmingham.gov.uk/downloads/file/14861/birmingham_transport_strategy

The allocation of road space will change away from prioritising private cars, to support the delivery of public transport and active travel networks. (Note:- Active travel apparently means, walking, wheeling i.e. wheelchairs and disability equipment, cycling, scooters.)

The city centre of Birmingham will be transformed through the creation of a network of pedestrianised streets and public spaces, integrated with public transport services and cycling infrastructure. Access to the city centre for private cars will be limited, with no through trips allowed.

Parking will be used as a means to manage demand for travel by car through availability, pricing and restrictions. Where development potential exists, land currently occupied by car parking will be put to more productive use.

On-street parking replaced with outdoor hospitality space

Divide the city centre into seven segments (the city core and six peripheral segments bound by the A4540 Ring Road), is a first step towards encouraging sustainable freight movements. Each segment can only be accessed from the A4540 Ring Road, while movement between segments is only possible for public transport, pedestrians, and cyclists. All other vehicles cannot cross the segment boundaries due to physical measures such as bus gates and road closures, and so would need to go back to the A4540 Ring Road to move between segments.

Reduction in council owned car park spaces (at least by 2,500 spaces since 2012) and redevelopment of a number of large car park sites. Car parks to be redeveloped into housing.

Review of all parking provision including areas outside the A4540 Ring Road.

Existing Controlled Parking Zones in place and extend these to remove free car parking from within the A4540 Ring Road, from neighbourhoods on the outskirts of the city centre, and from local centres.

Goodbye Shops I guess and War on Motorists?, your a conspiracy theorist

World Ran By SATAN

Just to say, what ever peoples views, it doesn't change anything, won't stop me talking to anyone, were here for the Arcades and Games and happy to talk to anyone about them and we don't need to fight about this topic, just a discussion, we all have different thoughts and views which is our right

John Lennon was a pretty switched on guy if you hear some of his videos on alternate video platforms, wonder why he was killed?

I wasn't laughing at you pooman, just the Hockey stick Hoax, no offence intended

And two for the Conspiracy Theorists

listening to this now, I'll listen to anything and then decide

Even my Nephew said this to me Mum the other month, not sure where he got it from but wasn't me

So mainstream scientists are those that are promoted by the mainstream media. And the mainstream media has their own agenda - to serve Satan’s Inversion. I’m glad that’s all been cleared up.

I really don’t mind people declaring themselves as out and out conspiracy theorists. That’s cool as it provides useful context.

But outside of grand conspiracy theory, you are either left to accept the almost unanimous scientific consensus (understand it) or to deny it - e.g. flat earthers.
