Signed up ages ago for this, but have re-confimed on the link provided. It's a busy time 2 weeks prior to wedding but I can't really miss this one.

If nothing else I will be able to thank everyone for their ongoing help on my Techinical Advice posts, as well as being able to ask lots more questions!!!!

Booked into The Fenhurst. It was only £55 for the night with breakfast! So that's £27.50 each

The Fernhurst is a decent pub with good value food, although I don't know what the rooms are like.

I noticed they've added breakfast on this time as well.
I've eaten in the Hungry Horse attached to it the last couple of times before heading over to RGP's and the food's been not too bad at all. Bit busy on a Saturday evening not suprisingly.

Just a reminder as a few people don't seem able to read the calendar, its NEXT WEEKEND - 30th August, not 23rd.

Anyone travelling down this weekend will be sorely disappointed

Btw, need to ask you all what you want to do about food at the unit? We thought we'd be a bit further on with the kitchen area and be able to provide the same excellent standard as at the home parties i've done.

We can do crisps, nuts, dips, etc but can't do hot food. Was thinking we can do a few sandwiches as well and that kind of thing but sadly we can't have the excellent fresh chicken nuggets and pasties my caterer normally makes. He's broken his leg and is off long term at the moment anyway.

There is a Fish & Chip, Pizza, indian and chinese takeaways nearby BUT we'll leave you guys to organise what you want if you want anything from there as its not easy getting 80+ orders from people at once.

We'll have tea/coffee there too but don't expect to be waited on lol.

And just in case anyone says but ..... do ...... its a choice, I can organise food or get games working a place usable - decide!

Its got to be the games, I won't be staying at the Fernhurst this time so will grab something on the way. Nibbles will be just fine, I will bring some and more diet coke to share

If the Pizza place is a Dominoes or similar they should be good to do an order for 80 people.

We did one at the Slam Saturday night OK - that was ordered on the fly.
