Update!

Unknown to me when I dropped the playfield off it has been identified as a proto playfield!!!! PROTO PLAYFIELD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111212



So this is pretty awesome news. Here's a comparison of the Early Pilot (EP) and then the Production playfields (PR)

Update!

Recieved this picture this morning of the playfield. She's started to be stripped. Now it's got most of the parts off of it you can see it matches the EP/PR photo better.

It is absolutely filthy!

I've been advised to buy new pop bumper plastics and also new targets and leaf switches for the slingshots. So putting that order in today. Will have to update the parts list to accomodate these new things

Was also told the wirerails have all gone to the platers to be blasted and then gold plated! w00t!

Don't know that much about Pinball and i rarely played them BITD (were crap on majority of the ones i played

) but i can see the passion for Pins and your Indy is gonna be one superb resto Olly.

I like the 'no expense spared' attitude you have for this project and that will shine through when fully restored

UPDATE!


New pictures of the current cabinet restoration are in. All remaining parts have been removed ready for filling, sanding and prepping prior to the full respray and decal application:

It appears the backbox is finished, here are some sneak peeks at the finished article. More once the entire cabinet is completed.

Update!

The speaker panel plastic has been buffed and polished.

Temporarily placed in the back box whilst the speaker panel wood is filled and prepped ready for restoration.
