Wowzers, seriously good job done to Indy - My interest was peaked after playing quite a few machines at Play Expo. Can't imagine how much all that work must of cost!

. It's definitely getting a full LED makeover however.

Eeew, really Oll?

Maybe there is something up with my eyes or optical wiring, but when my eyes move quickly I see traces and flickering on ALL LEDs I've tried. It's like the trail effect you used to see on late '90s driving games.

I understand the arguments for heat and power, but it's like lighting a Di Vinci masterpiece with a 10,000 W spotlight. For me it really takes away from the aesthetic.

Good shout on the toys though, keep it uncluttered and let the shiny loveliness of your resto take centre stage.

Quick Update

All the metal parts have been in a tumbler for over 3 weeks as some of them were pretty rusty and marked.

Just got them out:

I'm paying extra and getting the capacitor 'no flix' versions that don't flicker - extra £40ish mind. Still saving for that one!

Update!

The door is back from the chromers and has been re-assembled ready to fit. There appears to be a few teardrop marks on the main coin door unfortunately but I can get this re-done easy enough in the new year.

Update

Here's some pix of both playfields after they had been prepped. This is literally pre-clearcoat. I hope to have some clearcoat 'after' pix in the next couple of days.
