Event was even bigger than last year so there was a lot of stuff to cover - unfortunately missed a few things I wanted to check out.
I take it Jon didn't make the Sunday challenge as I went over in the afternoon and the cab was turned off?
Also nice to put a face to U72 and Tony!

Good pics, gutted I couldn't make it.
I only went on the Sunday and there was so much to see I couldn't take it all in. Sure the food prices were high, but £5.50 for pie and mash where I come from isn't unreasonable, it was decent too. Chips at £4.50 though wasn't great.
I definitely didn't think the event was a rip-off corporate scandal, far from it - it takes a massive amount of organization to pull something like this off, and the whole event was jam packed with stuff everywhere going on, free parking and tons of nearby facilities. Have you seen the prices of half decent gigs lately?
Seriously well done to the whole RGP team for the impressive number of cabs, I was delighted to play all the ones I really wanted to... Popeye, Paperboy, Hunchback, Out Run DLX, the list goes on.
Karate Champ 2-Player against my housemate was a great excuse to break out the Van Damme moves, such a cool game.
Getting a decent run on ROTJ whilst iamjimmi and his mate were giving the euro time pilot a good thrashing really got me into the arcade spirit, nice to meet you mate.
Thanks especially to James who let me take photos of the insides of his euro millipede, at some point I'll buy you that pint I mentioned.
Probably going to do the South Coast Slam next year as its closer to me and I haven't been yet,
so not so sure about play although replay at Blackpool is tempting.

Never had time after a mistake on Sunday on Pac Man. Shame too, as my game is absolutely rock solid at the moment, never felt better. I'm going to do it, just a matter of time.
How did it go with the guy from Electrocoin on Sunday @ Play Expo ?
He came over initially to speak to myself and John Hughes, asking who owned the Electrocoin machines. He was offering parts, so sounded quite promising for Andy/RGP.
Did anything come of that?
