Speaker sections - xenon .
7 completed now - Stripped , rust removed and ready for oxide primer. Also some metal reshaping involved. The bottom one was from
the outside xenon off eBay - came up well. Now onto the finishing and hopefully making a stencil to do artwork.

Thanks for supplying the link mate. I've only got one Electrocoin cab (Special Criminal Investigation) but I have two others that I think it would also work with.

5 cabs is awesome. Looking forward to the next update of yours!

Will work on most.control panels and easy to apply/ cut. Seems to keep overlay in place and adds some protection.

Another 3 speaker panels from
Xenon’s finished with red oxide primer and ready for a light sand finish and then spray. Using hammered black spray on all xenon parts closest match I can find to that used by electrocoin. Think the finish was favorited as hard wearing but also disguises bolt finishing well.

Little bit of fun as love painting and finishing.
Have a dozen or so white leaf buttons in various states from almost magnolia to burnt umber 😂 fear not some with the cig burn will be kept for authenticity also . Anyway wanted to try out dismantling and spraying with plastikote enamel. Must say I was
Quite impressed this is after a light wet and dry rub and 1 spray coat !
Put some non sprayed in for illustration purposes. Comparison on Neo geo panel - game select sprayed .

Mate bloody lost my screw, my 29" legs are all that is stopping me rotating the Monitor on my own, or just get another Cab...
I have to say it is not an easy monitor to rotate as I found out today. The weight of the monitor and frame is pretty substantial and not a pleasant combination of weight and reach - definitely won’t be doing too regularly.
I am almost certain that the monitor weight resting on top of the speaker metal section as you pull out causes the wood brace to strain under the speaker section. I have found in 4 cabinets this section broken and then had to remake as too weak to repair.0E083F60-C618-4CD5-BE9E-390248F7A33B.jpegFF23E0FB-7019-4159-A56F-98988D5BA067.jpeg

Looking good, I picked up a Xeon in 23 or 24,
it was project local where the guy bought all new buttons and sticks, a lcd (no crt) and a game elf.
Wasn’t in bad condition.
He had a millipede bezel made, and the joysticks were transparent blue and yellow with bubbles in them
There’s an idea for you (ducks quickly)

I have a crt. For it, and following your work on yours, which I’ll certainly refer too when doing mine.

I think on the speaker panel, I am missing one of the covers, at a guess right handside, do you have a spare at all?

Came across the flyer pic, that seems to have yet again different design on speakers

View attachment 31063
Interesting.
Not seen a version like this before and did wonder if a prototype?
Single player panel which I have not seen before but thought about making one ! vertical monitor and coin insert only on one side. No stenciling on side wings it seems and a white area around door where in most cases a perforated stenciled was used.
I am working on a stencil for speaker area currently.
