Are you looking for online help/advice or for someone local who can land a hand?

Dose it play blind if you coin it up and start a game? Do you have anything at all on the screen?

It was my brothers, he hadn’t played it for a long time. We brought it home and it worked well for a couple of weeks. Now there is nothing when you turn on. The fuse i fine. I‘m looking for someone to repair please

It would be helpful if you could take some pics of the machine inside so we can see how the board is connected, i.e could be converted to a Jamma setup and what type of monitor is installed, also when you say you checked the fuse are you saying the one in the plug and also the one on the monitor chassis too?. I'm based in Essex just over the bridge to you but depends where in Kent you are.

Have you been playing it with the PCB wrapped in bubble wrap? I'm thinking that may have caused something to go faulty due to overheating.

Hi, my brother had the game for about the last 20 years, it’s been like that all the way through, I did think it was a bit unusual, but unsure if it had caused any issues??

Well what makes it slightly an easier repair is the board looks to have been converted to DC set up, cant see what the power supply that the edge connector is connected to but with a Jamma adapter the board can be tested on a Jamma test rig.

You could really do with trying some simple checks first.
Are you getting a glow on the neck of the CRT when it's turned on?
Do you have a simple multi meter to check power to the PCB?

If no one can make it to yours I can check the PCB if you send it to me and cover the return postage but it would be a waste of money if the PCB is working.

Firstly, I would check all the wires that have been soldered to the green edge connector. Make sure none have broken off.

Also, don’t power up the game board with it still wrapped in bubble wrap. As previously mentioned, heat and static can damage a board.

Ah the old way of having the bridge and regulators on the main board. It scares me when AC is present on any board with TTL - Asteroids specifically.

Is this something you can help with ???
There are a few of us here that could help - but as Lurch mentioned, try the monitor first, does the neck glow orange, is there a high pitched sound, does the front of the screen get staticky when turned on or off? And of course, checking the voltages to the game board is essential, and easy to do. Some simple testing will give valuable information and may help us talk you through a diagnosis or even repair.
