Well I needed glass for my Translite and rather than getting one made i've gone for this new anti-glare stuff. Read about it here:

Well it's been a while since we last saw pix of the playfield teardown and rebuild. The awesome person doing it actually went on holiday for two weeks but last night I was emailed this picture.
Followed by these snaps!
As you can see she is absolutely filthy. I have been promised cleaned and polished pix soon
Here's the rats nest still needed to be sorted out.

Update
Recieved the rails back from gold plating... Have got some pix next to a rail from the other playfield to show the difference.
Look at them on the playfield prior to it being stripped!

UPDATE
The playfield has been cleaned and polished
The mylar has been removed to fully polish the playfield up. So now it's been suggested that I may as well get it clearcoated, which will cost about £200.
So another expense but I guess it will be worth it.
