Sounds good mate, looking forward to tomorrow, gonna get there early. Was the DK busy?

There are a couple of DK's side by side, so you should have no trouble. The vast majority of games had someone playing them virtually all of the time - but I found if you hung around the machine that you wanted to play, then the guy/gal playing generally stepped aside at their game over.

But my top tip... don't bother waiting for that guy playing pacman to finish... you could be there some time

That Jon bloke? Yeah, he's a right pacman hog

Don't wait for the guy that wears black gloves either, usually seen playing Robotron

he's actually a dead sound guy, been talking to him about doing a proper robotron marathon sometime at our place where we can let him do an overnight.

A few random pics.

Pre-setup on Wednesday when we used a Galaxian as a 'marker' for the corner of the arcade layout...

Somebody who's obviously played Mr Do! before...

Took my son and his friend for the day on Saturday. Amazing line-up of cabs, pinball tables and everything else. Managed to have a chat with Jeff Minter at the Llamasoft stall- one of my childhood heroes. Very friendly chap indeed! Had a go at his Oculus Rift version of TxK. Want one!

Completely overwhelmed by the size of the place, and found it frustrating that I would only be able to sample a tiny fraction of what was on offer. Only downside was the 50min queue to get in, but that's to be expected with events of this size.

Amazing effort from all the organisers and for RGP for carting and setting up all the cabs for us to play.

Got home a short while ago... had such a great weekend, James and Andy put on a great lineup of cabs.

As always its nice to see lots of familiar faces and also to put some faces to names.

Thanks again to Ben76 for putting me up on his sofa all weekend. Now looking forward to the next event, perhaps somewhere down south would be good for me, so I don't have to drive 4 hours each way again...

Great weekend, as always great to catch up with people, etc, etc.

I did a quick pin/vid walkround vid before it got busy on the Sat.

And here's my pics...

At a rough guess I was probably the 10th person in the UK to play The Walking Dead pin

Also a special mention to IremFan who was there all weekend with his game Wulver Blade. It was a great game to play

All in all a fantastic weekend... If you didn't go why the f not? If I had to pick a gripe it would be why weren't the cabs and pins together? However that did mean the bar was in between them

Just got back from the event. Awesome line up of cabs supplied by Andy and James, many thanks for doing what you do so well!

Wasn't impressed by the extortionate price for food, £15 for a chilli dog, fries and a small bottle of Carlsberg. Next year I'll be taking my own sarnies!!

What a great event, and I was happy to help Andy and James with the lifting and shifting on Wednesday and Thursday. As Andy pointed out, 142 cabs is probably the largest amount moved at one time in the last 20 years.
