Ok, a new thread for all things ID related

Well Martin dropped off the cab today.

It carries the battle scars of being battered in a UK arcade, but it's in OK shape I guess.
The seat has a crack, one side panel will need replacing as it's damaged, the seat doesn't lock into place as the lever is missing, loads of missing screws....thats without even testing it.

Does the floor look right to you guys?
I'm sure there is a floor panel missing?
There are no keys, is the key generic or will the lock have to be drilled out?

The general feeling I have is that us lot have actually rescued these cabs from a fate worse than death!

I get a weird thing on ID3 running from CF on my ID1 cab.
When I pass the finish line the steering vibrates loads for about 4 seconds. Like when you go over the rumble strips. I can't see anything out of place in the game setup.
It plays fine apart from that. Annoying cos I've transferred my ID1 card to it.

Nope dude, it's one from this op group buy thing we got involved in, it should be coming up the road next week sometime but I'm at college till Friday and Friday is booked up

Brian, mine was an ID3 and it went up to Cambridge way

That seat looks quite far back - looks like the entire base of the seat unit has been moved back a few inches. Maybe it had a very tall owner previously..

tried 18 Wheeler and Crazy taxi in mine via cf cards today.
18 wheeler played, but the horn was on constantly.

Crazy taxi just locked up on the first splash screen

Where did your cab come from? One of the sides on mine used to do that. I never did get to the bottom of it as when I swapped the driver boards over between the two sides it stopped on both sides

got it from a guy on J+ earlier in the year.

it hasn't done it on any other games.

My CF solution is on its way...but I was wondering about the following games workinh on my ID2

1) F1 world grand prix

2) F355 ( i believe there is a single screen version???

3) what's the difference between club Kart and club Kart Euro

If you replace any broken side panels i'll take them as mine will be repaired and painted

F355 will not work in an ID Cab without spending a shat load on Boards and wiring! and not available for CF mod. Mine was a F355 Challenge 2, and I did think about keeping the boardset to play in the Cab, till I played it for all of 5 minutes
