You didn't get a card reader either?... Doh!!! I am chasing the other for aircouk - i'll get on it for you also. It might be a case I need to go up there.

Thanks Alpha1 for your help on this!

Also does anyone know how to fix the adjustment in the ID cab seats? my missus is rather short and the seat keeps on moving backwards when she plays...

I'm sure there was a lever to adjust when I played them years ago... might be a case of taking it apart to see whats broken or missing.

I just bought a new plate on ebay with the locking lever...

I take it you will need to find one or ram a screwdriver in the broken one to lock it

Has anyone got some pictures of how the card reader bolts on to the coin tower? the holes for my card reader don't match up at all, I have one bolt holding the card reader in place

I met up with Mo today (a really nice guy) and bought a coin tower with a single type card reader bracket attached, heres a pic of my old one, ignore the random sticky substance that was there when I removed the card reader.

Can you take a photo of the back of your cab where the card reader loom plate is please, it should have a hole and 2 screw holes where the plate attaches. swapping from a twin type card reader bracket to a single type bracket, the place where the card reader connects is different.

Cheers.

There should be a bracket inbetween the coin tower and the card reader - this makes the flat surface for the card reader to attach to.

I'm guessing you have a UK card reader..?

As Gary said, the coin tower has an extra bracket on top of it that levels the surface for the card reader to mount on. The pics are not that great tbh, but hope they help.

If anyone has a single cabinet a pic of where the card reader loom attaches to, that would be helpful to me.

Cheers.

This is the back of my initialD single cab. Single cabs have a box and plastic pipe covering the looms that run from cab to coin tower. This shows the box (to the left) with cover removed and AC plate (to the right) as I know people often want to see this too. The card reader loom is on the yellow connector.

Remember, this is a single cab so the AC plate doesn't have a link out the a slave or master cab like a twin would..

Thanks again Gary, I dunno what I'd do without all your help!

Looks like I need to get that box then, the Coin tower I bought off Mo has the cabling but I didn't realise I needed a back box as well.

I prefer the look of a single cab to be honest, it's so much cleaner looking and it means I can push the cab right up to the wall. If I can find someone who can help regarding the Sega CF reader I bought that would sort me out until I can get the metalwork sandblasted + powder coated. I also need to find a Model 3 dashboard for OR2 SP and a few bits+artwork to make it nice and fresh looking....I've already spent more than I first thought I would.

I also have a slight problem where the steering is a bit jittery, it's very noticable in the steering service menu, I'll take a movie of what I mean at a later date. I've tried replacing the pot but that didn't help, one for another day I suppose as it is playable but not 100%.

Cheers.
