Thanks for your help with that. That’s made it good enough to select game from the taxi cab. I think I’ll plug it into a joystick cab to set the assignments though, trying to do this with a gear stick and steering wheel is a tad painful.

Thanks again.

Just stumbled upon this when I was looking to update the my older Naomi PiForce Web setup - this is awesome!
For folks with just a basic stick/digital setup (or any other fixed setups) would it be possible to have a bulk 'Edit Game List' to exclude cab setup types? Only horizontal etc?

Yep, that's on the list of features to add, it ties in with filtering games for the on screen menu. You can use the quick filters from the main menu or the 'edit game list' screen under setup to filter games for now

Awesome! Thanks Chunksin. Great to see active development. Turned on my Naomi cab after many months of sitting gathering dust, had great fun.

Hey Chucksin, I a WiPi setup going fine for a few weeks until one day it stopped broadcasting an SSID to connect to. I tried other Wireless adapters and had the same issue. Given it was the older version of software I had I decided to flash the latest image. I can browse if connected through the RJ45 but I still don't have a wireless network to connect to. Can you tell me if the settings here are correct? I have never changed them.

Thanks,

Gordon.

That's odd, could the wifi have got damaged on your pi? it will broadcast the WiPi-Netbooter SSID by default, your interfaces file looks fine for hotspot mode too. I guess you could try a vanilla install of the Raspberry Pi Desktop OS and test your wifi is working OK

Thanks for the help. I installed a Pi OS and the wifi was working fine on that. I re flashed the image on to the SD card and still have the same issue no not sure what is going on. All of the USB ports seem to be working. At the moment I only really need to to boot Crazy Taxi so I stuck it in sever mode but all I get is "Error 31 - This game is not acceptable by the main board". I tried with Open JVS enabled and disabled. Also swapped in another Naomi with a different BIOS chip and got the same result. Am I missing something? I would get a new Pi to test with but the prices of them are silly just now! I may try hooking up an old laptop for the time being.

Thanks,

Gordon.

Having a mare trying to sort this! My hardware/practical knowledge is decent but I fall to pieces with technical IT stuff!

I've downloaded the files (14nr zips), extracted them and now I have 14 folders with one disc image file in each.

So do I drag all 14 extracted folders onto my SD card and that's it?

Just extract the first file using WinRAR, you should end up with a single .img file that you write to SD card using Etcher or Win32DiskimagerChunksin2022-07-22 20:40:09

I'm wondering if the 6.1.8 update broke the time hack as I updated to that earlier today and now I am getting "Gateway Error 33" issues after a while of playing where with on 6.1.7 i was getting no issues.

Can't see anything obvious on my side. Reverting to 6.1.4 to see if this problem goes away.

Ah i thought i was going insane, checking cabling, voltages etc

Thanks so much for the quick response!

Just got 6.1.4 back up and running, might put off updating until you get the SRAM backup feature released though now. Which is huge for me :)

I would love to but even just putting that replacement file onto my image is beyond me.

I gave it a try and tried for first time to use ssh via windows but somehow can't get past the password, think i screwed it up.

Shame you can't just see root via windows explorer.

Reverting back to 6.1.4 again ^ ^;

Finally figured it out and can SSH properly and sftp easily into it now.

So updated to latest version and transferred over the replacement netdimm.py

Way too much "learning" for today.

Been looking forward to this update for quite some time now.

Thank you so much for integrating a SRAM backup.

Was having issues getting into the OSM but I guess I just needed to set OSM mode to REPLAY because I was using single boot mode and powering the Pi separately to the NAOMI.

Gone back to single boot mode without OSM for now as it seems "quirky and slow" to me.
