you can see those chassis were built for multiple type tubes and modification, i expect your chassis is the cheap version

This why I guess I got lucky
When I paired it to a Samsung 29” Plano.

pin 11 of flyback goes to q401 which should be a bu2520d, centre pin of course is the collector
pin 8 of flyback is ground
desolder collector of HOT so its completely isolated from the pad, add lamp between pin 11 and pin 8

Any tips on taking center pin only out of chasiss ?

Or just remove it completely ..
I’m worried I will break the leg off if I attempt to bend it up and out the way

yeh I would have done removed completly but I lost half the pad of collector Só
Dicided it was going to possibly cause more damage to the other 2 pads .

yep vr501 is b+ adjust but that is not the aim of this exercise, you are dummy loading the b+ to read the 25v line. reading the b+ is bonus and you can mark down the level for future reference
