If you want to use onboard graphics, create a folder C

rogram FilesAMD - that will bypass the Calamity driver check. The installer removes the Groovy user for you, just create it when prompted at first boot, log in as Admin and when you run the installer, it deletes the user and auto expands the D: drive.
You can add another internal drive or a USB drive, just drop the roms into a folder in the root called roms

Could be just your default Windows sound settings? Windows may be pushing the audio down the HDMI cable (or not, if that's the bit that's not working!)

Thanks very clever re the skipping Calamity drivers, I did wonder if it just saw a driver installed.
Re sound it's a bit odd because HDMI Audio is working via Windows just not in GM/AM do you think it's worth unticking the mute system sounds setting in instant sheller or is that just literally for the Windows system sounds?
Also just noticed that sound is off (a bit wobbly) in some games, Flicky, DK, TMNT but perfect in Ridge Racer (which is a first for me) I'm using the 221 Roms and upgraded to GM 221. Just wondering if maybe they're broken in the latest MAME or if it's a settings / driver thing?
Edit:
Just to note that the Installer doesn't seem to be removing the Groovy user when using the LCD Setup.
