Somethimgyep vr501 is b+ adjust but that is not the aim of this exercise, you are dummy loading the b+ to read the 25v line. reading the b+ is bonus and you can mark down the level for future reference

Yeh read continuity across it and to the next cap só I was thinking it’s all connected .Can I be clipped on any leg of the L501 ?

Cool ..you have not completed the exercise, the whole point of this was to locate and connect a 25v clean supply line to the ic - you have not done that yet
how do you what pin of flyback goes to collector of the HOT? easy look at the schematics or follow the track of the HOT collector
Okno you are not understanding my process, you do not know if you are going to get 25v so you need to prove it - you should isolate the resistor you replaced from the ic and with light bulb attached as dummy load as it is now you need to read the voltage you are getting on that resistor to make sure its correct
